1,000 Books

This program is designed for children from birth to age 6.

If you read just 1 book a day, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years, and 1,095 books in just three years!

READ TO YOUR CHILD: Reading to your child prepares them for entering Kindergarten. Make it fun and exciting. Be imaginative.

As you work toward the 1000 book goal, your child will earn digital badges and prizes for every 100 books read. Be sure to log every book you and your child read. Read ANY book you choose. Audiobooks and books read to the child will count as books read toward the program total.

Pre-K Unearth a Story

This program is designed for children ages 0 to 4 to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

100 Book Challenge

This program and associated prizes are intended for school-aged children from the age of 6 and up.

To meet the challenge,

read and review 100 chapter or

non-fiction books.

Choose ANY chapter or non-fiction book titles you want to read. Participants can read the books themselves, have the books read to them, or listen to an audiobook version-- Whatever the form or format, it counts!

After reading each book, participants will complete a short review to earn program points that translate into digital badge rewards and prizes. Reviews should include the reader's opinion about the story, characters, writing, or other personal responses to the work. Prizes will be earned when 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 books have been read and reviewed.
